My positive experience with this company began before I even interviewed them. We wanted to do a full house residing - capping, siding, and gutters. Bowie Siding and Roofing was not on our radar, particularly, until we mentioned to different friends what we were hoping to do. Their name was consistently given to us with positive feedback. We looked at four different companies to get estimates. One did not call us back. Of the other three, one was a very large regional company, and the other two are local to Bowie. Frankly, Bowie Siding and Roofing won us over in the interview/ estimate process, first because the owner took time - nearly two hours - to measure, evaluate, explain, and answer my many, many questions. He was knowledgeable and experienced. Their estimated price was reasonable - well lower than one other high quality local firm, and right in line with the large regional firm. And they were as good as their word. They stayed in communication with us, being up front that it was going to be several months before they could get to the house, and then letting us know the timetable as they had to wait for rain. The work was well done, and done quickly - about a week to do EVERYTHING external to my house - which looks great. The house has been warmer, too, because of the process they use to insulate behind the siding - my heating bills did go down a little this winter, though I had the thermostat up. They also cleaned up after themselves well. They were - and have been - responsive in dealing with two minor issues that have to do with external wiring work we were having done at the same time the siding was going up. In short, I've become one of the people who recommend them to my friends when I hear that they need home improvement work done. I am grateful for the work they did, and love the results. Could not be happier.

The roofers just left and they did wonderful work, I cannot express how happy I am with the way they worked, they were true professionals. This company is amazing. They have great prices and their customer service is top notch. The owner of the company came out herself to do the estimate and answered every question we had and explained everything. She also made sure she was available for any question we had that came up later. The workers showed up and were very professional and the quality of the work was great. If I had to give them a rating from 1 to 10 with 1 being the lowest and 10 being the highest and best. I would give them a 100 because that's how far above and beyond they went during the whole process from the beginning of the job to its completions and I would highly recommend them to everyone.

We had our roof done around 1994 and it is still wonderful! I recommended BSR to a friend in Rosedale, Md and BSR beat all other competitors price for them drastically as well as did a wonderful job!

We have known and dealt with this company for over twenty years. They have replaced our roof, and when there was a problem, came out immediately and corrected the problem. They have also replaced all the windows in our house. They did a fantastic job. We have recently moved out of state and when we need new windows or siding and a new roof, we will contact them about completing the work. The owners of our old house, had an issue with sky lights, which Bowie Roofing and Siding did not install, but they happily replaced the sky lights. The office personnel is very courteous and very responsive to any concerns your might have. The installers and pleasant and arrive promptly when they are scheduled to be there. They clean up at the end of the day and leave your property clean and the end of the job.
